How will I know if a therapist does not use a specific technique correctly?
Answer: In cases such as shoulder periarthritis, osteoarthritis, cervical syndrome, lumbago, sciatica, etc., we should start worrying if we do not notice any improvement within 5 treatment sessions (i.e. Manuelle, PNF).

There is something peculiar in the case of scoliosis. How come you did not learn methods, such as Schroth, sooner?
This method has proven effective in all types of scoliosis when it was applied by Mrs. Schroth and later on by her daughter! The method is flawless because it is based on facts. Any kind of mistreatment is considered to be an insult to her inspirer and can cause more damage than scoliosis itself!!
Answer: This is due to the fact that the success in thousands of patients (proved by X-rays before and after the treatment) has been done when Mrs. Katherine and her daughter were working manually without any other collaborators and, thus, they could control the outcome. Nowadays, there are about three or four specialists around the world who apply techniques that can treat scoliosis (not by using Schroth necessarily) but without being able to pass their knowledge on others so as to have considerable results, proved by X-rays (i.e. improvement shown with four to five degrees every month).

Commercialization is impossible and the effectiveness of each concept disappears when it is simplified in order to become a tool for everyone!!
The only technique in Greece that has insured and certified the proper educational training is the Greek Association of Physiotherapists and Chiropractors, with the condition that the trainees have completed their studies with success. In contrast, training that is provided solely by seminars and conferences can only certify the attendance and not the knowledge of a technique.

The secret of treatment lies in the power of knowledge of a variety of techniques and the ability to combine them to a specially-adopted program according to the needs of each patient. It is vital to be a well-trained, experienced and open-minded person so as to diverge from using a copyright technique and to be able to treat musculoskeletal and neurological disorders quickly and effectively (if the disorder permits it).
